Nikol Pashinyan Surprised by Court's Decision to Release Manvel Grigoryan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is unaware of the reasoning behind the court's decision to release MP Manvel Grigoryan on a 25 million dram bail. In a conversation with journalists in Vanadzor, he stated that he understands the concerns of those protesting the decision to release Grigoryan.

"I understand people's discontent. To be honest, I don't know the grounds on which the court made that decision. Once that decision is available, I will familiarize myself with it, but I still won't express an opinion," Pashinyan said.

He believes that the preliminary investigation into the criminal case should be concluded promptly and that a trial should proceed, along with all its implications.

Pashinyan also mentioned that organizing a protest is a right of the citizens. He expressed that the court's ruling was a surprise for him.
