Fog and Black Ice: Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of December 22 at 10:00 AM, the roads across Armenia are generally passable.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks with trailers. On the Sotk-Karvachar road, there are patches of black ice.

Fog is present in the cities of Goris in the Syunik region, Abovyan in the Kotayk region, Yeghvard, and in the 'Chayni twists.'

Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.

Information from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of North Ossetia indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
