They Tried to "Tear Off My Mask": Davit Sanasaryan
One media outlet reported on the purchases made by the State Audit Office, and several individuals attempted to "tear off my mask" on Facebook.
This was noted by Davit Sanasaryan, the head of the State Audit Office of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
Sanasaryan specifically mentioned:
“Dear friends,
imagine that an employee needs a chair, a desk, a computer, a printer, soap, toilet paper, including representation expenses such as coffee, candies, inexpensive cognac or wine.
This year, we have purchased items that the organization did not have; over these past months, we have demonstrated results despite the absence of computers, paper, and other essential supplies. The office lacks 7 out of the 9 vehicles planned, and employees are traveling for studies using their own cars and fuel. I believe this should concern you more than the minimum necessities for a government institution.”
Note: All purchases have been organized in accordance with the procurement legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
