Ready to Strike and Hold Sit-Ins During the New Year

A representative from the government met with employees of the Ministry of Diaspora and Culture, who were holding a protest in front of the government building, promising to deliver their open letter to the acting Prime Minister.

Ministry representatives requested a response to their letter by Monday, otherwise they would continue the strike.

They demanded a meeting with the acting Prime Minister, since the project has been approved and the law will come into effect on January 1 without discussions. 'If our protest does not receive a response, we are ready to strike during the New Year, and we will also hold sit-ins,' said one of the employees.

It is worth noting that employees from the Ministries of Culture and Diaspora have declared a strike early this morning, protesting against the optimization efforts.

There are discussions that the Ministry of Culture may merge with the Ministry of Education and Science, and that the Ministry of Diaspora could be dissolved.
