Pashinyan Not Ready to Meet Zas as CSTO Secretary General Candidate

Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is not prepared to meet with Stanislav Zas, the Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus and candidate for the position of CSTO Secretary General. This was stated by Pashinyan's spokesperson Arman Yeghoyan in an interview with Armtimes.com.

“If there has not been a meeting with him up to this point, then there has been no necessity for such a meeting,” said Yeghoyan.

It should be noted that Stanislav Zas, the Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, had reportedly said via BELTA agency: “I am ready to go there at any time convenient for the Prime Minister of Armenia and meet with him, as well as the ministers of foreign affairs and defense, to discuss the issues or problems they see in the activities of the organization, and to work on these issues further.”
