Lukashenko Only Published His Statements from the Closed Meeting: Yeghoyan
The Press Secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arman Yeghoyan, addressed the comments made by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, regarding why Nikol Pashinyan does not raise the issue of arms sales to Azerbaijan in discussions with Russia.
In an interview with Armenpress, Yeghoyan stated:
“In response to Mr. Lukashenko's statement, I find it necessary to make a few important clarifications. Unfortunately, Mr. Lukashenko continues the practice of publicizing only the content of his own remarks from closed meetings. Regrettably, from the latest closed meeting, he reported only what he said and not what answers he received from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has consistently raised the problematic issue of arms sales from Russia to Azerbaijan during his discussions with the Russian President, including during the meeting mentioned by Mr. Lukashenko.
Armenia is committed to continuing discussions within the framework of the CSTO to ensure the full implementation of mutual alliance obligations of the member countries of the organization.”
