A Soldier Wounded by Gunfire in Artsakh is in Stable but Serious Condition; Foot Amputated Due to Mine Explosion
On December 15, conscript soldier Gevorg Hovhannisyan, who was injured by a mine explosion in one of the military units of the Republic of Artsakh, was transferred yesterday to the military hospital in Yerevan.
In a conversation with Tert.am, the head of the hospital, Vahan Gevorgyan, stated that Gevorg Hovhannisyan's condition is assessed as stable but serious. “His left foot has been amputated, and there is a tear on the left side of his face. Surgeries have been performed in a timely manner, and he is receiving treatment; there is a slight positive dynamic,” Hovhannisyan detailed.
Regarding the condition of Argishti Hakobyan, who sustained a gunshot wound in the same military unit, Gevorgyan remarked that his state is also assessed as stable but serious. “I would say the same about Argishti Hakobyan; here he has received a gunshot wound, with damage to the abdomen and chest. Quite complex surgeries have been performed, and his condition is assessed as stable but serious, as he has a very serious injury. He is under observation, and it is too early to say that he is well,” concluded the head of the hospital.
