I Haven't Discussed Any Job Change, I Have Not Received Any Offer: Arthur Vanetsyan
I am hopeful that I will continue to serve as the Director of the NSS for many more years. The news about being appointed as the First Deputy Prime Minister is also untrue.
This was stated by the Director of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, while responding to questions about his tenure during a seminar in Tsaghkadzor on the topic of “Observations, Emphases, Suggestions to the Media Community.”
“No one has spoken to me about changing my job, I have not received any offer from Nikol Pashinyan and I continue my service as the NSS Director. I hope to continue serving in this position,” said Vanetsyan.
He mentioned that he has worked in this institution for many years: “When I reached my 20th year, I joined the NSS system and I have been working in the NSS since then, and I take pride in my work. It is a great honor for me to lead this institution. During this time, the NSS has changed its face and that is only a small part of what we have done with our partners.”
According to Vanetsyan, after May 2018, a new chapter opened in the history of the NSS, and today the NSS operates in a situation where the NSS director is constantly making public statements and meetings with journalists are occurring, and he believes this will continue.
“At our last meeting, which I initiated, my senior colleagues were against it, but that meeting yielded results,” said Vanetsyan.
It is noteworthy that earlier, media reports suggested that Arthur Vanetsyan could be appointed as the First Deputy Prime Minister, and in his place, Felix Tsolakyan could become the NSS Director.
