Kocharian's Defenders Plan to Appeal to the Constitutional Court

The defenders of the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, have received the Court of Appeals' decision regarding the selected preventive measure of detention on December 7. The defense team announced that they will appeal this decision to the Court of Cassation.

Currently, the defenders are also working on preparing appeals to the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights.

It is noteworthy that the Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Rubik Mkhitaryan, rejected the complaints of Robert Kocharian's defense team and upheld the decision made by the first instance court on July 27, which involved the detention of Robert Kocharian as a preventive measure.
