The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, has appointed Jalal Harutyunyan as the Chief of the Artsakh Defense Army Staff, as reported by the "Fifth Channel" television station.

It is noteworthy that the official decree has not yet been posted on the official website of the President of Artsakh.

Prior to this appointment, Jalal Harutyunyan served as the commander of the military formation stationed in the southern direction of Artsakh.
