Impassable and Closed Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has reported that the Vardenyats Pass is closed.

The Spitak bends (for heavy vehicles) and the Sotk-Karvachar road are impassable.

There is black ice on the Saravan-'Zanger' section of the Sotk-Karvachar road, as well as on the roads of Aparan and Aragatsotn regions.

Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively using winter tires.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.

Information from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ North Ossetian branch indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
