Soldier Injured While Repelling Enemy Incursion to Receive Treatment in France

To facilitate the treatment of Ruzi Vardani Thorosyan, who was injured by gunfire while fulfilling his military duties, a total of 1 million 303 thousand AMD will be allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget for 2018. This unreported decision was made during today's government meeting.

The Ministry of Defense will receive 1 million 303 thousand AMD from the government’s reserve fund, which must be transferred to Thorosyan's bank account to ensure his treatment in the French Republic. Thorosyan sustained his injuries during the night of May 27 to 28, 2014, while repelling enemy reconnaissance-diversion operations along the southern line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces.
