“Let the drum component be abundant”: Pashinyan proposes to implement a culture program in the army

During the government session today, Acting Minister of Defense David Tonoyan suggested that the Ministry of Culture organize cultural visits to military units.

In this regard, Pashinyan proposed that a separate program could even be developed if the Ministry of Defense does not object.

“There have been times in Armenia when there was a perception that playing the violin decreases a person's combat effectiveness rather than enhances it. We strongly disagree with that view. In fact, I believe that art is very important for enhancing combat readiness, and we can develop a new program,” said Pashinyan, adding that for the armed forces, the repertoire can be suitably aligned: “Let the drum component be abundant.”
