Lavrov to Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Issue in Baku

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, has arrived in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, where he is set to meet with the country's President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. This was announced by Maria Zakharova in a briefing with reporters, according to TASS.

Tomorrow, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization will also take place in Baku. It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan currently holds the presidency of the organization.

According to Zakharova, a wide range of issues related to the regional agenda in the field of economic cooperation will be discussed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will also address the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Maria Zakharova emphasized that there is currently Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh.
