EU to Provide Armenia with €6.5 Million

According to the agreement, support is to be provided to the regulatory body of Armenia's nuclear sector and the nuclear operator, aimed at enhancing nuclear safety and assisting in the implementation of measures following the stress tests to improve safety levels.

The program outlined in the agreement is funded from the EU budget, in accordance with the main act, the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation. The total value of the program is €6.5 million, and the implementation period is 96 months.

The successful implementation of the programs is expected to contribute to the overall improvement of nuclear safety, thereby reducing health and environmental risks associated with potential nuclear accidents.
