Ukraine Issues Wanted Notice for Wealthy Armenian-Surname Sarksisov Brothers
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has issued a wanted notice for the Armenian-born businessmen living in Russia, Sergey and Nikolai Sarksisov, who are the head of the "RESO-Garantia" insurance company, according to РИА Новости.
According to reports, the brothers are accused of fraud. The list of wanted persons on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’s website notes that the businessmen "disappeared" on September 24, 2018.
They have been charged under Article 190, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to “Organized fraud in especially large amounts by a group.”
It is worth noting that the Sarksisov brothers own 60.7% of the shares of the "RESO-Garantia" insurance company, while the remaining 36.7% is owned by the French insurance company AXA Group. The business brothers were also part of the management team of the Justo-Strakhovanie insurance company in Ukraine.
The Sarksisov brothers have been included among Russia's wealthiest families according to Forbes magazine.
