Snowfall in Some Regions: Road Conditions Update

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that as of December 12 at 09:35, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across the country.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers.

On the Sotk-Karvachar road, there are patches of ice present in some areas.

Snowfall has been observed in several municipalities, including the region of Amasia in Shirak Province, Aparan in Aragatsotn Province, Hrazdan and Charentsavan in Kotayk Province, and Martuni in Gegharkunik Province.

Drivers are advised to travel in these regions exclusively with winter tires.
