Mother Mistakenly Gave 3-Month-Old Baby 'Manganese' in Tavush

Today, December 12, a 3-month-old girl from the village of Voskepar in the Tavush region has died in one of the hospitals in Yerevan, reports Aravot.am.

Her mother mistakenly administered potassium permanganate, also known as 'manganese', to the infant as a treatment for her illness. The child was transferred to Yerevan in critical condition.

It was reported from Voskepar that two years ago, the family's approximately 3-year-old daughter died of an illness. The family has one son.
