Igor Khachaturov Attends Trial of Hayk Sargsyan

As previously reported, during the latest court hearing in the case of Hayk Sargsyan, the nephew of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, Davit Simonian, known by the nickname 'Kenroni Kyazh,' made his first appearance in court. He was accompanied by officers from the 6th department of the police.

According to News.am, presiding judge Anna Danibekyan inquired of the police officers why they were escorting the victim, to which one officer responded that it was for Davit’s safety. By court order, the police were moved to an area designated for attendees behind glass.

The media outlet reports that Igor Khachaturov, the son of former Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov, was also present at today’s court hearing.
