22-Year-Old Girl Detained on Suspicion of Causing Bodily Harm

On December 10, at 21:45, the police department of Artashat received a report from one of the medical centers that a 23-year-old individual was admitted for treatment with a "stab-cut wound on the left side of the anterior chest".

Upon arrival, the police discovered that the victim had been taken to the hospital from in front of a grocery store on Abovyan Street in the village of Azatavan. They also identified the taxi driver who had transported the young man to the hospital.

As a result of the measures taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident, on December 11, at 14:30, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Artashat police, acting on received operational data, detained 22-year-old Astghik E. from Yerevan on suspicion of causing bodily harm.

She has been presented to the Aragatsotn regional investigative department. Measures are being taken to identify the instrument of the crime. An investigation is underway.
