Turkey's Response to Pashinyan's Statement

Turkey has responded to Armenia's readiness to establish diplomatic relations without preconditions by reiterating previous conditions.

Following the statement made yesterday by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding Armenia's willingness, an Azerbaijani media outlet reached out to the Turkish presidential office to verify their perspective.

The Turkish presidential office responded to the Azerbaijani Trend agency with the same points they have raised for years: the Turkish side has set preconditions for establishing relations, which include the abandonment of demands regarding the Armenian Genocide and agreeing to decisions favorable to Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict (the Azerbaijani media used different terminology).
