Ministry of Defense Seeks Quality Food for Soldiers
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has decided to implement modernized dining facilities within the armed forces, equipped with new technology and supplies, where military personnel will be provided with food, including in field conditions and combat duty positions, ensuring variety, quality, and the necessary calorie intake.
This was announced on the official Facebook page by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
The pilot program will include 8,000 servicemen. A competition has been announced for the implementation of the program, open to private companies that have experience in organizing food for at least 1,000 people and a minimum of three specialists with relevant expertise.
The results of the competition are expected to be summarized on January 17, 2019.
