Felix Tsolakyan Denies Rumors of Becoming NSS Director

The Acting Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, has denied media reports claiming that he will soon assume the position of director of the National Security Service of Armenia. In an interview with Armenpress, Tsolakyan stated:

“There is no such thing. I just returned from Gyumri. The newspapers have written what they wanted. The rumors are completely unfounded.” When asked whether he could rule out the possibility of receiving such an offer in the near future, Tsolakyan responded, “Nothing can be ruled out, but I am saying that there is no such matter.”

It should be noted that there were circulating reports in the press suggesting that Felix Tsolakyan would be appointed as the director of the NSS soon.
