We Experienced a Unipolar National Assembly, Which Is Not a Positive Phenomenon: 'We' Alliance
The 'We' alliance has issued a statement regarding the extraordinary parliamentary elections.
We present the statement below.
"Dear compatriots, the preliminary results of the extraordinary National Assembly elections held on December 9 have already been published, and we can say that for the first time in 20 years in Armenia, the elections took place without the direct influence of crime, corruption, and falsifications. We congratulate everyone on this fact and also the parties that have entered parliament, hoping that they will be able to work for the benefit of Armenia and the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
Indeed, these elections were held without significant violations and incidents, but it is also evident to everyone that there was no substantial, ideological, or programmatic fight during the pre-election campaign, which has resulted in a unipolar National Assembly, a phenomenon that is not positive from the perspective of the country’s development and the establishment of a parliamentary governance system. We express our deep gratitude to our voters for trusting us. Rest assured, each of your votes obliges us to work more vigorously and to expand our army of like-minded individuals for a confident and future-ready Armenia and for the well-being of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia."
