Our Path Will Continue: Arpine Hovhannisyan

I would like to thank everyone and each person who voted for the Republican Party of Armenia yesterday, showing that they are ready to look the reality in the eyes and are concerned about the challenges facing our country. This was stated by Arpine Hovhannisyan, a member of the Republican Party and Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, on her Facebook page.

In her post, she noted:

“Dear compatriots,
Your vote of confidence will not be devalued, and our path will continue. For one simple reason: the issues we have raised are real.”

I especially want to thank the people of Lori who voted for me. Despite my de facto withdrawal from the elections in Lori Province, despite my call to vote for my colleague, and despite the fact that I had not done any work in the region and expected to receive 0 votes, you still showed me your support. This is more than obligating.

P.S. I wish success to the parliamentary majority, to all the political forces that have effectively entered the parliament. Now it is up to you and the challenges. Now it is up to you and your ability to confront those challenges. Your knowledge, experience, and preparedness have been recognized by the entire public, and you have been given a mandate. Sincerely, I wish you a safe journey in solving these issues: we will meet in the next phase of political struggle. It will not be delayed.
