Election Violation: Soldiers Voting in Formation at Some Polling Stations

At the polling stations 27/33 in the village of Arghel in Kotayk Province and 16/14 in the city of Armavir, soldiers are voting in formation, which constitutes a violation of the electoral code. This was reported by the public alliance "Independent Observer".

According to the fourth part of Article 65 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia, "Soldiers entering polling centers should not do so in formation".

Previously, it was reported that at the polling station 27/33 in the village of Arghel, soldiers voting separated the ballot of the "My Step" alliance after receiving their ballots.

Representatives of the "Independent Observer" alliance warned the head of the commission to announce this and to prevent the separation of ballots before entering the voting booth.
