Poroshenko Announces Deployment of Troops at the Russia Border

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced that military units will be deployed at the border with the Russian Federation during the period of martial law. His remarks were cited by UNIAN.

“The appropriate units will be deployed to strengthen the Ukrainian border,” he stated.

According to Poroshenko, military exercises will also be conducted in the country, and in areas where martial law has been declared, military gatherings will take place.

It is also noted that Poroshenko has submitted a new bill to the Supreme Rada, which voids the agreement on friendship with Russia.
