Flash Company Executive Forces Citizen to Mortgage Apartment; Criminal Case Initiated
The investigation into a case of self-justice accompanied by violence has concluded at the Investigative Committee's Central and Norq-Marash administrative divisions. Charges have been filed against Barsik Beglaryan, the president of Flash LLC, and H. Hovsepyan, the head of its base.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, based on factual data obtained during the pre-trial proceedings, Flash Motors LLC faced a significant theft of property during 2015. The owner of the company and his relatives accused the former commercial director of Flash Motors LLC and demanded the return of the allegedly incurred property damage.
To recover the damages caused, instead of appealing to law enforcement and receiving compensation for the alleged theft through legal means, they resorted to violence and threats of dangerous violence to life and health, demanding that the victim mortgage their apartment located on Abovyan Street in Yerevan or pay an amount of $20,000 as compensation for damages.
As a result, under the direction of Beglaryan, the former commercial director mortgaged their apartment on April 25, 2016, transferring 9,700,000 AMD to the company.
The investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
