We Need to Cross 19-21 Km of Azerbaijani Territory to Reach Our Area, Says Sasun Mikaelyan

I am in favor of changing Artsvashen to belong to us; it must be given to us. However, we need to cross 19-21 km of Azerbaijani territory to reach it, said the President of the Union of Volunteer Fighters, Sasun Mikaelyan.

“Today, all border villages are pleading and waiting for the demarcation process to begin so they can be free,” he added.

It is recalled that during a meeting in Agveran on April 29, the delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed and exchanged texts of three draft guidelines regarding the implementation of delimitation work. Both sides agreed to refer the guidelines to their governments for approval. In other words, the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan are to approve these guidelines through relevant decisions.

Furthermore, on the official website for the publication of draft legal acts of the Republic of Armenia, e-draft.am, a draft government decision regarding the approval of these three guidelines has been put up for discussion from May 15 to 31, which was prepared by the Ministry of Justice.
