Recall that according to a report received by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia from the police, on June 7, 2026, during the regular elections of the National Assembly of Armenia, a candidate for a deputy position, N.K., while warned of the legal consequences for providing false information, deliberately concealed information about holding or having foreign citizenship. Specifically, he submitted a fraudulent application to the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, claiming that he was not a citizen of another country, thus concealing information that could obstruct his eligibility for a public official status.
