Why Did You Shoot at Us? A Citizen Questions Kocharyan

During a pre-election meeting in Kasakh, a citizen reminded Robert Kocharyan of the events of March 1. "Well, Mr. Kocharyan, why did you shoot at us? Oh, how can you not remember? Let me remind you, do you know Gor Cloyan? You know that his children grew up because of you. I am astonished, how do you walk among people, how do you move about?" the citizen stated.

Kocharyan attempted to evade the response, even telling the citizen, "You are to blame." The citizen replied, "I am terribly guilty, I am terribly guilty for the fact that you now..." Another citizen added, "You killed my friends; I am asking a simple question, why were we guilty for going out into the street?"
