He believes that expressions of hatred towards us are orchestrated. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, in a conversation with reporters.

“The opposition is in a desperate situation because it is clear that the three political parties considered the main opposition forces are struggling to overcome the minimum threshold, and this is evident. Gagik Tsarukyan is participating with his party in an attempt to cross the 4% threshold based on his old resources. The ‘Armenia’ bloc clearly will not surpass this threshold; gathering 100,000 votes is evidently impossible.

Therefore, Robert Kocharian is prepared to plead, to grovel, to speak kindly, and to insult so that we respond to him. As for the 'Strong Armenia' organization, the veil has been lifted, the lights have been turned on, and it became clear that this man does not know the spelling of 'd-t' or 'gh-k', does not recognize Armenians, and besides the fact that he cannot hold any position in the Republic of Armenia, he has no idea what he is talking about. Thus, his only option is to insult and provoke the authorities,” Simonyan added.
