Aliyev Announces 85,000 People Live in Liberated Territories

Combining antiquity with modernity, Baku demonstrates its commitment to preserving its historical heritage while developing contemporary urban growth, highlighting that our ancestors were talented individuals and that we maintain our historical and architectural legacy.

This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the opening ceremony of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), as reported by the APA news agency.

According to him, 85,000 people already inhabit Azerbaijan's liberated territories (occupied Artsakh). The leader of Baku noted, “Azerbaijan is located between Europe and Asia; this is also reflected in our architecture.”
