Language is Being Used in Relation to Russia: Robert Kocharyan
“I often think about what this government must do to ensure that there is not a single person left in Armenia who supports them. Whatever bad could be done, they did it; they instigated a war, lost it, and resulted in over 5,000 deaths, injuries, and territorial losses. What else can they do? Perhaps the only thing left is to leave the people hungry. Now they are following that path. In these last two days, they are using language regarding Russia, wrapping all their faults around the neck of that great country without considering how much our economy is tied to that country and the EAEU.” This was stated by Robert Kocharyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the “Armenia” alliance, during a campaign rally in Vedi.
“What do we want? How do we want to live? Without friends or allies, being alone here, completely relying on Aliyev's will and whims? They tell us why we increase the number of war victims, especially a certain official, the most disdainful official in Armenia, who spits in people's faces. My question is the following: When you called those young men to military service, did you have lists, or not? Did those people have names and surnames, or not? The coffins that came back, did they come back numbered? Now we are saying, publish, respect the heroism of these people; print it, create a memorial book, let everybody know what has happened. If we are wrong in our numbers, we will apologize. A people that does not respect its heroes will never have heroes,” added Robert Kocharyan.
