The United States Again Rejects Iran
The authorities of the United States have completely rejected Iran's 14-point program submitted for the purpose of conflict resolution. According to the Tehran Times, Tehran has already received Washington's written response regarding its proposals. The U.S. rejected all points from the Iranian side, continuing to adhere to a policy of pressure, particularly concerning Iran's nuclear program.
According to Tehran Times, Iran has expressed its willingness to move to the second round of negotiations if Washington accepts the presented proposals. It is worth recalling that on May 10, Iran transmitted its response to U.S. proposals regarding the resolution of the conflict in the Persian Gulf through Pakistan.
The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources, reported that Tehran opposed the dismantling of nuclear facilities, which is Washington's main demand. Although Iran has agreed to cease uranium enrichment, it has not accepted a 20-year timeframe as required by the U.S. Later, U.S. President Donald Trump deemed Tehran’s response unacceptable.
