Moscow will approach any election undertaken by the Armenian people with understanding. This was announced to journalists by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Ovechuk.

“Of course, as President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has said many times, we will approach any election that the Armenian people conduct with understanding,” he noted during the "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" conference, responding to a question from TASS about Armenia’s rapprochement with the West.
