The United States seeks to dominate the world by forcing countries to purchase American rather than Russian energy resources, believes Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

In an interview with RT India, he stated that the pressure being exerted on everyone to refrain from buying oil from Russia is an unethical method that can be described as colonial and neo-colonial.

According to the minister, this is about exploitation methods. "The essence of these methods is to force everyone to buy not the cheap oil from Russia but the expensive oil and liquefied natural gas from the United States. In this way, they aim to dominate the world through control of global energy resources," Lavrov emphasized.
