The Ministry of Internal Affairs Responds to Gagik Tsarukyan's Statement
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has denied the statement made by Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, claiming that 52 officers of the patrol service in Kotayk Province have been dismissed.
During a campaign event in Dilijan, Tavush Province, Tsarukyan stated that these 52 patrol officers were dismissed solely because their relatives are his supporters.
In a conversation with Auroranews, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, said, “The mentioned statement is misinformation and does not correspond to reality.”
