Rafael Yeranosyan on Participating in the CP Campaign

“It is my village, I live in my village, whoever comes, I will participate, I will listen, I will talk.” This is what actor Rafael Yeranosyan told Aysor.am, who participated in the campaign of the “Civil Contract” party in the village of Lenughi.

“My friends have come today—the governor, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, whom I have known for over 15 years. No one has told me to come; I have listened to my villagers about their issues and have voiced them, which should be addressed during this time. I expressed my gratitude for the renovation of the kindergarten and so on. What is wrong with that? I have a political stance on whom I will choose and how I will choose; that is my opinion,” Rafael Yeranosyan said.

When asked if he would participate in the campaign of other opposition members if they visited their village, the actor responded, “Yes, let them come; what’s the problem? I will go and listen in my village. Will they slaughter me for listening to the opposition?”

Regarding whether he shares the ideology of the authorities and aligns with their political approach, the actor noted, “This leads to another place. I am in favor of reform. As the classic says, ‘good for the good, bad for the bad.’ Yes, there are very bad things, and there are also good things. I am happy about the good things I see, and I am saddened by the bad ones; it pains my heart. I am a person who lives and works in this republic. I live in the village of Lenughi in the Armavir province; if someone comes at that moment, I will listen to them and express my opinion. I have not gone anywhere else to the campaign. I have not done anything wrong. I went to walk, listened, and voiced the issues with my fellow villagers,” the actor stated.
