CEC Warns Political Parties Participating in Elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia has announced that the deadline for political parties and alliances to submit their asset and income declarations is May 13.
The CEC added, “According to the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Armenia, the failure by a party (a party within an alliance) to submit the asset and income declaration to the Central Electoral Commission within the legally established deadline according to the electoral code incurs a fine for the party’s official ranging from one hundred to three hundred times the established minimum wage. The same applies to a candidate who fails to submit the asset and income declaration to the Central Electoral Commission within the legally established deadline, which incurs a fine ranging from fifty to one hundred times the established minimum wage.”
