Yermak Addresses Allegations Against Him

Andrei Yermak has denied the suspicions of corruption leveled against him. “I do not have any houses, I only have one apartment and one car, which you have seen,” stated the former head of the Ukrainian President's Office in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.

When asked by journalists whether Yermak is mentioned under any nickname in the tapes of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, which served as the basis for the arrest of several Ukrainian officials and the ‘Mindychi case’, he responded, “My name is Andrei Yermak; I have no other name.”

One day earlier, Ukraine's anti-corruption agencies announced the revelation of an organized group involved in the legalization of 460 million hryvnias (over 8.8 million euros) through elite construction near Kyiv. The agencies have identified Yermak as one of the group’s participants.
