Efforts to Bring Akhalkalaki Businessmen to Armenia to Vote for Samvel Karapetyan
According to Bagramyan26, "calugaitsy" are planning to allocate significant resources in Russia to encourage Akhalkalaki Armenians to come to Armenia during the elections and vote in favor of Samvel Karapetyan.
Specifically, sources indicate that Norik Tevanyan, "president of the Armenian community in Moscow," organized a banquet at one of the restaurants in Moscow for around 200 Akhalkalaki Armenian businessmen, upon the instructions of Ara Abrahamyan, at the end of April.
After the banquet, Tevanyan held individual meetings with groups of these businessmen and instructed them to arrange for their fellow villagers who hold Armenian citizenship to arrive in Armenia on election day to cast their votes for the "Strong Armenia" party.
Reports in Javakheti suggest that under Tevanyan's orders, Armenian businessmen from Akhalkalaki residing in Russia are preparing to distribute pre-election bribes to their fellow villagers at the rate of $100 per person.
