“Enlightened Armenia” party launched its pre-election campaign near the Supreme Judicial Council. “There are no institutions in Armenia. The judicial power is not about protecting the identity of the Armenian person,” stated the party leader Edmon Marukyan, noting that the location of the campaign's launch was significant in front of the SJC.

He declared that on June 7, there should be a change of power because the people do not have an independent judicial system.

Marukyan emphasized that they will not deceive the public by claiming that they will lead the country to Europe, but rather they will bring European standards to Armenia.

He stated that whatever position exists in Armenia, Pashinyan has taken it: he is the head of the NSS, the president, the judge, and the prime minister.

“Enlightened Armenia” has sent a message to the public that “they have the opportunity to have an independent judicial system.”
