Tsarukyan on Running for Prime Minister

The leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, has announced that he does not wish to take on the role of Prime Minister, despite being able to nominate himself as the party leader. He made this statement during a meeting with residents in Hrazdan.

“Tsarukyan does not want the position of Prime Minister. I have given you my word. I could have said that I am the Prime Minister of my party; I created it, I have established myself, I am a man of this land and water. But in order to avoid any unnecessary discussions, I do not have such a goal,” he noted.

According to the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, the party has four potential candidates for the position of Prime Minister, who have experience, connections, and have already demonstrated results.

“There are four candidates for Prime Minister who are experienced, willing, have connections, and have shown results. If we manage to reach that stage, I will introduce them all, and the public will give their assessment,” said Tsarukyan.

He also emphasized that the leadership of the country should be entrusted to an experienced and responsible individual.

“An official who is responsible to the people does not have the right to make mistakes. We need a hardworking, experienced person so that experiments are not conducted on the people,” he declared.
