Teachers Are Coerced to Attend Rallies: Narek Karapetyan

Kapan reminds me of the time when we started the "Our Way" movement. Do you remember when Samvel Karapetyan was arrested for defending the church, and at that time we created a movement that has now transformed into the country’s main opposition political force, presenting itself as a catalyst for change in Armenia?

During a campaign event in Kapan, Narek Karapetyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" party council, stated, "I clearly remember that day, and I tell you that your attitude on that day gave us great energy to bring about these changes, finally creating an opposition force that will consist of young, clean-handed, and professional individuals to bring qualitative changes to the country."

He criticized the Republican Party for coercing teachers to attend rallies, stating, "Wherever he goes, teachers who do not support him are being forced to attend rallies. And it’s not just that, state employees are also being coerced. State employees are free citizens of Armenia with their own viewpoints. What he has said has come back to him; what he criticized, he has done himself," noted Narek Karapetyan.
