China's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement Regarding Russia

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an official statement reaffirming its intention to continue the comprehensive strategic partnership with Moscow. During a press conference held in Beijing, ministry representative Guo Zhaokun stated that China is prepared to consistently develop friendly ties and strengthen cooperation in all areas.

According to the Chinese side, the relationship between the two countries currently serves as a stabilizing factor in a complex global situation. Beijing emphasizes the importance of establishing a fairer global governance system, which should be facilitated by the close dialogue existing between Russia and China.

This position follows a statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 9, in which he characterized the cooperation between the two countries as a key factor in the stability of international relations.

Notably, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation. The diplomat noted that the years slated for educational exchanges in 2026-2027 also create new historical opportunities for the development of relations. This process continues to remain in the direct focus of the leaders of both countries.
