Iran's Spiritual Leader Issues Statement

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has announced new measures to confront the United States and Israel, according to Iran's IRIB state television.

During a meeting with the commander of the Iranian Armed Forces' Central Headquarters, Ali Abdollahian, Khamenei received a report on the state of the Islamic Republic's military. This is the first official report on the meeting between the commander and the Supreme Leader.

“During this meeting, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, announced new initiatives and laid the groundwork for the continuation of actions and resistance against enemies,” the report stated.

According to the television report, Abdollahian's briefing highlighted the excellent defensive and offensive readiness of the Islamic Republic's armed forces, as well as the presence of strategic plans, weapons, and equipment necessary for confrontation with the U.S. and Israel. The commander of the Central Headquarters emphasized that the armed forces would respond to any form of aggression from the 'enemy' swiftly and powerfully.
