Henrikh Mkhitaryan: 'I Will Make a Decision After the Last Few Matches'

In the 36th round of the Italian league, Milan's Inter, who won the championship title prematurely, sent 3 unanswered balls to the net of Rome's Lazio. Former captain of the Armenian national team, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, became a goal scorer for the second consecutive game in that match, immediately following which he made an important statement regarding his future.

"Right now, I have a lot of emotions in my head. I have had a wonderful career, and I am happy with my achievements and playing football at the highest level. I am glad to be a part of Inter and to be a teammate with these guys, as they have extended my football life for the past four years. There are only a few matches left after which I will make a decision. We have a big match on Wednesday; we want to prepare well and win another title," Mkhitaryan's words are quoted by DAZN Italia.

This season, Mkhitaryan has participated in 36 matches with the Milan club, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists. It is noteworthy that his current contract with the Italian giant expires in June 2026.

Additionally, on Wednesday, May 13, Inter will have the opportunity to aim for another trophy. In the final of the Coppa Italia, Milan's Inter will compete again against Rome's Lazio.
