Democracy, Law, Discipline Party Issues Statement
Levon Baghdasaryan, the head of the central headquarters of the Democracy, Law, Discipline Party, has announced that strategic and programmatic provisions regarding post-election activities will be presented step by step in the coming days. Baghdasaryan made this statement on his Facebook page.
The post mentions that the party aims to build a "Sunny Armenia."
"An Armenia where the law will not be a tool for the powerful but a shield for the citizens. An Armenia where the working person will no longer be demeaned, the pensioner will survive without charity, the farmer will not leave his land, and the soldier will not be forgotten," the announcement states.
According to Baghdasaryan, under the leadership of Vardan Ghukasyan, the party is preparing to implement a policy based on the "dictatorship of law." Despite the fact that the registration of the founder Vardan Ghukasyan was rejected by the CEC due to issues regarding residence and citizenship documents in Armenia in recent years, the political force continues to participate in the elections.
The pre-election campaign for the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7 in Armenia began on May 8 and will continue until June 5. A total of 19 political forces, comprising 2 alliances and 17 parties, are registered to participate in the elections.
The party continues to consider Vardan Ghukasyan as its candidate for prime minister. The party has submitted an electoral list consisting of 93 candidates to the CEC and is participating in the elections under number 15.
