Azerbaijan Monitors Tensions in Ongoing Political Struggle in Armenia: Bayramov
Armenia is on the brink of a significant political process. Parliamentary elections are set to take place soon, and the outcome of these elections will determine Armenia's future and the country's transition to the next phase of development.
This was stated to reporters by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, according to the APA news agency.
“There is a tense struggle underway, with various groups employing different tools to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, in Armenia’s political circles, there are still individuals who have a revanchist mindset towards Azerbaijan, and they display this line during the election campaign by making overt accusations. Of course, we understand that this cannot lead to any positive outcomes for Armenia,” Bayramov said.
The Azerbaijani government is closely monitoring these developments. “When assessing the statements from different groups, we base our policy primarily on Azerbaijan's national interests, ensuring that Azerbaijan remains a strong and powerful state, continuously advancing as a regional leader. I am confident that this will be the case,” Bayramov added.
It should be noted that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had earlier stated that the formation of Armenia's government will be contingent upon the results of the upcoming elections.
